From a small seed of an idea, nurtured by dedication and a passion for quality, blossomed a legacy that has graced tables for generations. This is the story of Ramans, a name synonymous with purity and taste.
It all began in 1953, not in a grand factory, but in a humble 50 sq ft space in Mannargudi. The founder, Thiru V. Ramanujam, born in 1915, was a man of integrity, a former postal and accounts clerk with an unwavering vision.
His son, R. Gunasekaran Santhanam, inherited this dedication. In 1990, he expanded the dream, transforming it into Ramans Coffee & Dairy. Their ghee found its way into the suitcases of travelers worldwide.
The torch passed to the next generation in 2015. Thiru Gunasekaran's son, Ramkumar, alongside his siblings, spearheaded a significant renovation to 1250 sq ft, embracing new technology.
In 2020, after meticulous research, Ramans Cow Milk Curd was introduced. Its rich texture and authentic flavor quickly won the hearts of the people, becoming a household favorite.
In 2025, Ramans established a state-of-the-art 7000 sq ft facility. The journey of their pure curd begins directly from local farmers, ensuring tradition and purity.
